Police and Gloucestershire fire and rescue service are treating all three blazes that broke out in Gloucester throughout this morning as arson.
The city woke to news that parts of the historic Fleece Hotel, in Westgate Street, were alight in the early hours.
Much later 999 calls were made reporting The Brunswick pub was alight, and between those two incidents a pile of rubbish was set on fire close to homes in Priory Place, near Cafe Rene.
